My official 1st Blog back!

It’s my first real day back in SL.  It was a very long and extended vacation.  Many months for personal reasons that I’d rather not discuss on my blog, and also due to computer problems.  While I missed all of my friends and all the fashion; I am very grateful for the time I had away from SL.   I had the opportunity truly treasure the “real world” again, and I’ve had so many new experiences that I am forever thankful for.  While I wanted to continue my blog, I have also made a promise to myself that I will not allow my blog, or any other SL ventures ever become more important than all the treasures of my real life again. 

I’ve also decided to do my blog, my way.  I’m no longer going to worry about critics or editors or any other fashion icon in SL tell me what I should or shouldn’t do or how I should or shouldn’t do it.  What you see is what you get.  It’s a reflection of my own personal style, and my own unique mood that I may have at that time.

(Geez.. that was rather long and personal… Now on to the style!)

I wore a combination of old and new today.  And hopefully you’ll be seeing a difference in my approach to blog photos.  I’ve spent the past few months focusing on my photography in real life, so I’m hoping you see a little bit of reflection of that while looking at my fashion blog.

A Breath of Fresh Air in a World of Fashion

 

I know the world can never have enough hair, but I had to take some of my day today and participate in a little full fledged, total body fashion.  I attended the EIMA Spring Fling  Fashion Show, and while all the models were beautiful.  I also fell in love with the outfit that I was wearing and decided to blog it.  I hope all the readers enjoy a little break from hair as much as I have, it was a little breath of fresh air.   I’ll be back to my full hair blogging self tonight/tomorrow.  Stay Tuned! 🙂

We so often forget as adults the value of a good nap.   Today, after a very long day and a horrible headache looming I came home and decided to take a nap.   Aahhh.. It was so refreshing!   My mind tends to wander quite a bit sometimes, so since I was refreshed I start thinking about water, and then I start thinking about blue, and then I stumble across my MichaMi jacket and VOILA!  a fabulous outfit inspired from my nap.  (Except this outfit is far from tiring) 🙂

8 Hairstyles I can’t live without…

 

I’m back to continuing my countdown of my absolute favorite things in SL.  To recap… I started with 10 summer dresses, featured 9 swimsuits, and now I am at 8 of my favorite hairstyles.  These are the hairstyles that no matter how much hair I buy I just can’t seem to take off and I just continue wearing them over and over again.  Some are popular, some aren’t that popular, and some are entirely too popular, but they are definately some of my favorite things 🙂
