I’m Back And Blogging

After a longer vacation from blogging than intended, I decided to start back up.  I decided to dress up in something that would be perfect for a business luncheon, social or a meet & greet.  The outfit is perfect to the new Sugar which is all about work, work, work.  As usual, the colors I chose are black and white  and I decided to do a mix of old and new.   My favorite new piece in this outfit is the necklace from LaGyo.  Gyorgyna is amazingly talented and I am always completely honored to wear her pieces.

We so often forget as adults the value of a good nap.   Today, after a very long day and a horrible headache looming I came home and decided to take a nap.   Aahhh.. It was so refreshing!   My mind tends to wander quite a bit sometimes, so since I was refreshed I start thinking about water, and then I start thinking about blue, and then I stumble across my MichaMi jacket and VOILA!  a fabulous outfit inspired from my nap.  (Except this outfit is far from tiring)

That’s Miss Capitaine to You!

 

It’s truly hard to believe that I’m still going through boxes and gifts from the bloggers’ appreciation week.  Actually, it’s not that hard at all to think seeing how we were treated like royalty and given gifts beyond our wildest dreams. The dress I’m wearing was what I chose with my Sexy2nd gift card and I love it so much! 

I chose to wear it today and style it with some red in honor of Memorial Day and while I don’t think that is what was in mind when the designer originally made it, I just felt like it was the perfect outfit to wear to a quiet place and observe solemnly all those that have lost their life fighting for our country.  I will not get into my political thoughts or views about war or the military.  But I will say that anytime someone loses their life it is a sad tragedy for all the families and loved ones that are left without that person.  I hope that everyone tonight is safe and not in harms way.
